We filmed and edited this video for IceFest Pa over four of the coldest days I can remember last Winter. We’ve always enjoyed attending this event so to be hired to film a promotional video for it was a bonus – despite our hands being frozen! It was pretty neat to spend time with all of the committees, sculptors, crews and vendors that work so hard to make it a great event, and to see what all goes into the festival behind the scenes. They put in a lot more work than you might think.
This year’s event takes place from January 28 through the 31st. Events are scheduled throughout the four-day festival and include the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, live carvings, ballroom dancing at the Snowfall Ball, chili tasting at the Chili Cook-off, dunking at the Polar Dunk Plunge, cake viewing and tasting at Icing on the Cake, slipping and sliding down the FREE ice slide, Fun Run, and scavenger hunt.
